Alasdair trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. 

Recent theatre includes: Séance (The Other Palace), the title role in Sherlock Holmes and the Crimson Cobbles (The Theatre, Chipping Norton & Tour), Night Must Fall (Salisbury Playhouse and UK Tour), A Little History of the World (Watermill Theatre and Tour), Urinetown: The Musical (Apollo Theatre & St. James’s Theatre), Richard III and The Pride directed by Jamie Lloyd (‘Trafalgar Transformed’, Trafalgar Studios), Macbeth (Lord Chamberlain’s Men), The Importance of Being Earnest (Redgrave Theatre, Bristol), Someone Who'll Watch Over Me (Courtyard Theatre, London), Newsrevue (Canal Cafe Theatre), and The Lost World (Bristol Old Vic).

Screen credits include Casualty (BBC) and Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Warner Bros.)
